A segment of the national Highway 1 through Chau Thanh district to expand

ABO - Prior to the proposal of Chau Thanh district, Chairman of the Tien Giang provincial People's Committee Le Van Huong agreed to expand the segment of the national Highway 1 through Chau Thanh district (from Ong Tao railway station to the Hoa Tinh turning point).

Accordingly, the above segment will be extended to the right hand direction from Ho Chi Minh city to  Tien Giang province. The purpose of the expansion aims to ensure traffic safety as well as clear road.

Previously, the segment of the national Highway 1 from Ong Tao railway station to the gate of Tan Huong Industrial Park will be also expanded. The expansion has contributed to reducing traffic congestion here, especially during peak hours.

Recently, Chairman of the Tien Giang provincial People's Committee Le Van Huong had a field trip to survey the above-mentioned road and asked the units to quickly implement.
