Chairman of the PPC inspects a work of dredging water hyacinth plants

ABO - On July 7, Chairman of the Tien Giang provincial People’s Committee (PPC) Le Van Huong inspects the work of dredging water hyacinth plants to facilitate water flow in rivers, canals in the province.

Chairman of the PPC has inspected the work of dredging water hyacinth plants in Binh Nhi commune (Go Cong Tay district), Long Hung commune (Go Cong town), Tan Phuoc commune, Tan Tay commune (Go Cong Dong district) and Quon Long commune (Cho Gao district).

At each point of arrival checkpoints, Chairman of the PPC encouraged the forces to join in dredging water hyacinth plants. Besides, he also noted that the localities must ensure labor safety; selecting a feasible solution to efficiently dredge water hyacinth plants as well as ensuring the safety of participants.

In addition, he also asked the local to have a plan to avoid water hyacinth plants overlaying to protect environment of the river, canal in the province after dredging water hyacinth plants to facilitate water flow on the rivers, canals.

According to the plan of the PPC, the province carried out a height of dredging water hyacinth plants from July 7 and 8. After that, the Tien Giang the Irrigation Operation One Member Co. Ltd   and people's committees of districts, cities, towns to have a plan to solve definitely according to the table of water hyacinth plant on the rivers, canals in the province.
