About 2,030 new jobs generated in first seven month of year

ABO - A total of 2,030 people have been offered with jobs since the beginning of this year, according to the Tien Giang Department of Labour, Invalids and Social Affairs.

In the period, the department carried out many solutions on providing and ensuring stable employment for workers, especially organizing three job transactions with 281 people introduced job in July, the accumulated in the seven five month of 2018 estimated at 2,030 labors.

In July, the province had labors to work abroad in Japan, the accumulated had 103 labors to work abroad, reached 68,7% the year plan.

In addition, the department resolved the unemployment insurance for 1,807 laborers, the accumulated paid to 7.420 registered unemployed workers with a total payment of VND 86.6 billion (up VND 10.8 billion compared with same period of 2017).

In the remaining months, the Department of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs will continue to provide consultancy and guidance on the implementation of labor legislation to laborers and employers; to regularly coordinate with the propagation and dissemination of labor legislation.
