Supervising the implementation of the Resolution of the Provincial People's Council on budget

The working session focused on the implementation of the Resolution of the Provincial People's Council on budget in the area of Tan Phuoc district.

The reports of units showed that the implementation of resolutions of the Provincial People's Council on the principles, criteria and norms for allocating the regular budget estimates for local budgets in 2017 in the My Phuoc town well as Tan Phuoc district implemented basically without problems.

Every year, the payment of budget revenues and expenditures were implemented strictly according to regulations, ensuring the satisfaction of the assigned political tasks, thus contributing to the accomplishment of the local socio-economic development targets.

However, there were some difficulties due to the low revenue resource from the local economy while the upper level assigned to the next year higher than the previous year, the local revenue have not risen significantly compared to the estimate. Concluding the working session, Head of the Economic-Budget Committee of the Tien Giang provincial People's Council Nguyen Thanh Dieu highly appreciated the results of the implementation of the contents under the Resolution of the Provincial People's Council on the budget of My Phuoc town and Tan Phuoc district; at the same time, he acknowledged the difficulties and problems of the locality.

The Provincial People's Committee would work with the relevant departments to study and consider supporting the local authorities to solve difficulties in the shortest time. However, the Tan Phuoc district People’s Committee had to be proactive in taking advantage of local revenues; to suggest and propose difficulties in terms of mechanisms and policies so that the provincial departments have the basis to advise the provincial leaders to remove difficulties for the locality, etc…
