Tien Giang University summarizes the "Summer Youth Volunteer Campaign 2018"

ABO - On July 27, Tien Giang University has recently held summarized the “Summer Youth Volunteer Campaign 2018”.

The 2018 Summer Youth Volunteer campaign has taken place from July 2-12 under the theme of “Tien Giang Youth creatively to volunteer for building homeland" in 20 communes under 6 districts of Cai Lay, Chau Thanh, Tan Phuoc, Go Cong Dong, Go Cong Tay and Tan Phu Dong with 285 students participated in 7 volunteer teams.
 
During 10 days, students built and repaired 3 great unity houses with more than 2,150 working days; electrical repair and replacement of equipment for 70 households; relocation and upgrade 30 electric pylons and 5 kilometers of rural electricity; renovation of power lines at 7 works (headquarters, schools, memorial stele); expanding, embankment and embellishment more than 15 kilometer of roads; dredging water hyacinth and cleaning 5 kilometers of irrigation canals in the field; organizing summer activities, etc...

At the closing ceremony, the Campaign Committee awarded 122 certificates of merit to awarded group and individuals for their outstanding achievements in the 2018 Summer Youth Volunteer campaign.
