According to Head of the Office of the Tien Giang province Steering Committee for Disaster Prevention and Search and Rescue Nguyen Thien Phap, on morning of November 23, local authorities called on nearly 374 fishing vessels to safety shelter; about 1,000 other offshore fishing facilities in the provinces were located outside the danger area of ​​the storm and in regular contact with the mainland.

In addition, many disaster response activities in Tien Giang province have basically completed and minimized the impact of natural disasters on production and life.
