Tien Giang province promotes labor export

ABO - On October 9, 2018, the Tien Giang provincial People's Committee issued Plan 276 on the organization of activities to promote the sending of laborers abroad to work under the 2018 contract.

 

The purpose aims to strengthen the leadership, direction and propaganda to raise the awareness of the Party committees, authorities, committees, branches, unions and people about the benefits of working abroad; information for employees on the support policies of the province as well as conditions, employment, income while working abroad.

 

To improve and promote the efficiency of the work of linking and coordinating among branches, mass organizations, localities and functional units to increase the number of laborers going to work overseas.
One of the key activities in the implementation of Plan 276 is the promotion of sending workers to work abroad. The conference will be organized by the Tien Giang Department of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs under presiding over by the Provincial People's Committee.

The meeting will be participated by many agencies under Minitry of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs, Japanese Embassy, Japanese Unions, People's Mobilization Committee, the Provincial People's Council, departments, branches, unions, People's Committees of districts, towns, and schools and training institutions in the province.

The conference will be expected to hold on November 24, with the main activities: To implement of guidelines, policies to support workers to work abroad for a certain period of time; to sign cooperation and communication links, creating a source of labor selection among companies with the function of sending laborers to work abroad with localities and training establishments; forums for exchanges and consultations between unions, sending companies, employment service units with students and laborers, etc…

 

As expected, there will have 11 companies sending labors to work abroad sent to work in Japan, Taiwan, and a number of recruiting workers companies in the country. The conference also have attendance of many workers who need counsel, registration to work abroad for a term and students - graduates of the school such as: Tien Giang University, Tien Giang Vocational College,etc…
