Tien Giang General Hospital is the leading medical examination and treatment facility of the Tien Giang Health sector. The hospital is built on the campus about 27,000 m2, with the design scale of 780 sickbeds but due to the overload pressure, the hospital has over 1,100 sickbeds.

With more than 900 officials and employees, the hospital receives daily treatment for about 1,200 inpatients and 1,800 outpatient patients. In addition to the medical examination and treatment work, the Tien Giang General Hospital received the task of supporting human resource training for the health sector and directing the line for lower hospitals.

The contingent of physicians of the Tien Giang General Hospital has continuously made efforts to better serve the health care needs of the people of the province and the people of neighboring provinces. The hospital has many deep specialties and treatment for many difficult cases such as rescuing patients with cardiac perforation, spinal fracture, pacemaker, hip replacement, knee arthroscopic surgery, etc...
