At the meeting, leaders of the My Tho city Chamber of Urban Management and the consulting unit introduced to agencies, organizations, individuals and people some contents such as: scope, boundaries and area of studying planning area; integrated planning functions; requirements in spatial organization, landscape architecture, technical infrastructure connection, etc...

In this meeting, My Tho city also consulted agencies, organizations, individuals and communities on the contents of the planning project of the scale of 1/2000 of the commercial and service urban area in the northwest. The planning documents will be posted at the offices of the People's Committees of wards and communes to continue to collect public opinions.

The planning project of the scale of 1/2000 the Northwest commercial and service urban area of My Tho city has a total planned area of 1,062 hectares (in ward 10, Trung An commune, Dao Thanh commune and Phuoc Thanh commune). After completing and approving, this will serve as a basis for urban management, land use and exploitation in accordance with the planning and at the same time orienting the landscape architecture space to suit the surrounding area, ensuring the long-term development of the city in the future.
