ABO – On May 29, Chairman of the Tien Giang provincial People's Committee (PPC) Le Van Huong inspected the paying compensation to households, who suffered property damage due to the impact of the Trung Luong - My Thuan expressway in An Thai Trung commune, Cai Be district.  These are households who have lost their assets when constructing IC7 intersection (An Thai Trung + An Huu nodes) with a total of 278 affected households.

After inspecting the paying compensation and site clearance, Chairman of the PPC visited the actual situation in the area of 46 households, who have not agreed the compensation for the construction of IC7 intersection in hamlet 2, An Thai Trung commune, to have a basis to thoroughly resolve in the meeting on May 31.

People receive compensation.

The total investment of the clearance sub-project of the Trung Luong - My Thuan expressway project is 1,689 billion VND. The total number of households affected as 3,292 households, including Tan Phuoc district with 130 households, Chau Thanh district with 431 households, Cai Lay town with 729 households, Cai Lay district with 419 households and Cai Be district with 1,583 households. Up to now, Tan Phuoc district has completed compensation, support and resettlement. Cai Be district, Cai Lay district, Chau Thanh district and Cai Lay town have some households who have not yet received compensation.
