The underground hideout in Dao Thanh commune recognized as the historical monument
ABO - At My Tho city Party Committee memorial stele, the My Tho city’s organizing committee of major holidays recently held a ceremony to announce the Decision of the People's Committee of Tien Giang province to recognize the underground hideout of Vietnamese Hero's Mother Huynh Thi Le in the hamlet 3A in Dao Thanh commune as the provincial-level historical monument.

After being recognized as the historical monument of the province, the underground hideout relic has been repaired to serve the needs of sightseeing and understanding the history of people. This is also a red address to educate the revolutionary tradition for the younger generation.
Speaking at the ceremony, Secretary of the My Tho city Party Committee Dang Thanh Liem directed the functional sectors regularly to organize activities returned to the roots at the relic site to educate the revolutionary tradition for people and the young generation of the city.
It is known that the underground hideout relic at home of Vietnamese Hero's Mother Huynh Thi Le as a place to hide officials of the My Tho city Party Committee during the anti-American resistance war in the period of 1967 - 1975.
