Tien Giang University honors outstanding blood donors

ABO – A total of 82 outstanding blood donors were honoured at a meeting held in Tien Giang University on June 4 by Tien Giang University Student Association.

Donating blood to save people is one of the profound humanitarian jobs and in this volunteer front, cadres, officials, youth union members of Tien Giang University are very active participants.

According to statistics, in the school year of 2018-2019, Tien Giang University Student Association organized three voluntary blood donations, collecting more than 1,000 units of blood donated by officials and students.

To recognize and honor voluntary blood donors, the Tien Giang province Red Cross awarded 14 certificates of merit to individuals with outstanding achievements in voluntary blood donation.

The Tien Giang University Student Association awarded certificates of merit to 68 typical students who have participated in voluntary blood donation many times.
