My Tan commune of Cai Be district recognized as new rural rural

ABO - On July 31, the Tien Giang provincial Standing Steering Committee for National Targeted Program proclaimed My Tan commune of Cai Be district as new rural commune.

According to report, after nine years of building new rural areas, the face of the commune has changed in all aspects. In addition, there are many very high increasing criteria such as income criteria (45.62 million VND/person/year; poverty rate (3.98%); the proportion of people participated in health insurance as 85.1%.

Infrastructure of school, health stations, cultural house, commune and hamlets have been invested, serving well the development of production, health care, travel, learning and life of people, etc...
In terms of rural transport, 3 routes with a length of 9.2 km have been constructed, ensuring convenient traffic for cars, reaching 100% of the requirements of the criteria. The hamlet road system is solid with 11 routes, reaching a rate of 100% with a total length of 22 km with a dal and plastic structure, ensuring no muddy in the rainy season, etc...

At the announcement ceremony, the Provincial People's Committee awarded an emulation flag and welfare project worth 1 billion VND to My Tan commune. The Provincial People's Committee, Cai Be district People's Committee and My Tan commune People's Committee rewarded many collectives and individuals for outstanding achievements in building new rural areas in the commune.
