Awarding 500 scholarships to poor students

ABO - On August 8, the Tien Giang Economic Development Fund for Women (MOM Fund) cooperated with Tien Giang Women's Union to organize the MOM scholarship award ceremony to fulfill the dream of 2019.

There are 500 scholarships awarded to the poor member’s children who have achieved high academic achievement. Poor member’s children and disabled member’s children are supported by MOM Fund to provide loans in production, business and economic development to increase their family income.

Each award includes 1million VND, notebooks and 1 schoolbag. The total value of this scholarship is over 500 million VND.

For many years, MOM Fund not only has helped many disadvantaged women members and disable people to get loans to escape poverty sustainably but also organized many awarding gifts and scholarships to member’s children. Since 2011, MOM Fund has awarded 2,200 scholarships worth over 2.5 billion VND.
