Eight left households not to receive compensation

According to the report of Chau Thanh district, the section passing Chau Thanh district is more than 11 kilometers long with 374 affected households. The project is divided into 4 stages to implement compensation and land clearance. So far, the district has handed over the site to the construction unit to reach 97.5%.
In particular, the section of Than Cuu Nghia intersection and supplementary branch of the provincial road 878 (going through Tam Hiep and Tan Ly Dong communes) and there are five left households not to receive compensation. Through many times, the district mobilized and implemented a decision to enforce land acquisition but some households did not come to receive the decision.
The project through Cai Be district is longer than 26 kilometer with 1,583 affected households. There are still two households not to receive compensation. Until now, Tien Giang province has eight left households not to receive compensation inclduding 5 households of Chau Thanh district and two households of Cai Be district and 1 household of Cai Lay district).
Comrade Le Van Huong acknowledged the efforts of the People's Committee of Chau Thanh district and Cai Be district in the site clearance work. Particularly in Chau Thanh district, he noted that farmers' rice fields are now ready to be harvested so the locality waits for the harvest to be completed. After that, the relevant will enforce land recovery. Before coercing land acquisition, Chau Thanh district will hold a press conference.
For Cai Be district, he instructed to continue mobilizing the remaining households to receive compensation and land handover.
