Honda Vietnam to present over 30,000 helmets to Tien Giang school children
ABO – On the morning of September 5, the Tien Giang province Traffic Safety Committee in coordination with the International Save the Children in Vietnam and Honda Vietnam Company presented more than 30,000 helmets to first graders in Tien Giang province during the 2019-2020 academic.
Accordingly, 30,000 helmets were presented to first graders on the occasion of beginning the new school year in the Tien Giang whole province.
This is the program of the National Traffic Safety Committee, Ministry of Education and Training and Honda Vietnam Company to deploy about 1,963,498 helmets for all first grade students in the 2019-2020 school year nationwide with topic "Keeping your dreams".
According to the Chief of Office of the Tien Giang province Traffic Safety Committee Nguyen Hoang Thanh, in 2018 the whole province had 29 traffic accidents involving children including 14 dead children and 15 injured children. In the first 6 months of 2019, the province had 4 traffic accidents involving children and killing 4 children.
