Chairman of the PPC and the delegation surveyed the embankment route located at the beginning and the end of Tan Long islet with a length of over 2,000m, of which the embankment route at the head of the Tan Long islet was completed, with a total length of 800m.
The total investment capital for building embankments against landslides is over 35 billion VND, of which the south-east coast line to the west is 400m; the north is 200m.
From the actual survey, Chairman of the PPC Le Van Huong suggested that the investor needs to study the structural solution of the project in order to reduce investment funding for similar projects and constructions to be carry out in the coming time.
The Tien river embankment construction project in Tan Long islet is an important work aiming to protect and prevent landslides of Tien river bank, both contributing to urban embellishment, creating a common landscape, attracting tourists and serving for My Tho city urbanization, both ensuring the safety of the operation of existing facilities along the river banks and waterway.
