Voters propose many issues related to people

ABO - On Novem 6 and 7, Vice Chairwoman of the Tien Giang provincial People's Council Nguyen Thi Sang and representatives of provincial and district People's Council met voters of Hoa Hung commune, An Huu commune and An Thai Dong commune of Cai Be district.

At the meeting, voters had many such as: To upgrade and repair a number of degraded rural roads as well as soon overcome environmental pollution in Hoa Hung commune, An Thai Đông commune. Many voters proposed to study the installation of Co Co street light to ensure security and order; it is necessary to reorganize the morale and service attitude of health workers, etc… In particular, the issue of landslides and grid investment were recommended by many voters.

* To early repair landslides status

Cai Be district's voters were worried about many landslides in the district, especially two landslides in An Thai Dong commune. So, people suggested the provincial and district authorities soon took corrective measures to ensure safety for people as well as pupils for traveling.
Answering this problem, the Standing Deputy Secretary of the Cai Be district Party Committee, Chairman of the Cai Be district People's Council Tran Van Ut, said that in the first 9 months of 2019 in Cai Be district, there were 37 landslides and the district used backup funds step by step handle landslide remedies.  

The district has calculated support for people to limit the influence of high tides so the source contingency budget of the district is now very limited. Therefore, district leaders are considering the calculation to take measures to support the handling of dangerous landslides that are urgently needed.

* Recommendations of electric grid envestment

Voters of An Thai Dong Commune (Cai Be District) proposed to pull the electricity grid for people life on the east and west banks of Rach Mieu river to create favorable conditions for people to use electricity.
Deputy Director of Cai Be district Electricity branch Nguyen Van Xuan said that the unit is surveying and preparing a portfolio to submit to Tien Giang Electrictity company to invest in the remaining 9 communes of Cai Be district for the next phase, including An Thai Dong commune.

The electricity industry is cooperating with the locality to make a list and will invest according to the roadmap to launch the new rural commune of An Thai Dong by 2021.

In addition, other opinions of voters were answered thoroughly by commune leaders and Cai Be district leaders.
