The project of enlarging Tien Giang drug detention center is located in Hamlet 7, Tam Hiep commune, Chau Thanh district with an area of ​​4.9 hectares expansion plan, including the following items: Detainees management area; treating drug addiction area; waste water treatment area; private area; clinics; factory; infrastructure; green trees; sports ground.

Particularly for this phase 1, the project will expand investment with a scale of 1.87 hectares with a total investment of 104.9 billion VND, including the items: Detainees management Area; auxiliary works; treating drug addiction area; technical infrastructure and equipment.

Speaking at the ceremony, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Pham Anh Tuan proposed the Management Board of Tien Giang province's civil and industrial construction investment project and construction unit, urgently accelerate project completion level, ensuring facilities for teaching and learning for local cadres and students; paying attention during the construction process to ensure labor safety, not affecting the regular operation of the center.
