ABO – Being one of the coastal districts of Tien Giang province as well as the last district of the Go Cong sweetening project, Go Cong Dong district always lacks of water for use in the dry season because of saltwater intrusion.

In order to promptly solve the difficulties of people in the dry months when the inland water level is increasingly depleted and polluted, Go Cong Dong People's Committee directed the District Water Enterprise to open 51 public taps in the area to serve the needs of water for people.

In the coming time, Go Cong Dong district will continue to request the district Water Enterprise to continue installing water pipes to a convenient location, which is near the place where people live to serve the people; at the same time, looking for solutions to bring clean water to local people so that people do not lack water for daily life due to the current situation of drought and saltwater intrusion.
