Seven universities in Vietnam meet int'l accreditation standards
ABO/NDO - Seven Vietnamese universities meet international accreditation standards, according to the Quality Management Department of the Ministry of Education and Training.
The seven universities are the Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology (under the Vietnam National University-Ho Chi Minh City); the University of Da Nang (University of Science and Technology); the Hanoi University of Science and Technology; the Hanoi University of Civil Engineering; the University of Science (Vietnam National University-Hanoi); the Ho Chi Minh City based-Ton Duc Thang University and the International University (Vietnam National University-Ho Chi Minh City).

Meanwhile, 181 universities and colleges nationwide have met domestic educational quality standards.
Earlier, the Vietnam National University-Hanoi and the Vietnam National University-Ho Chi Minh City were named among the top 1,000 universities worldwide on the QS World University Rankings 2022 while Ton Duc Thang University was ranked in the top 1001-1200 and Hanoi University of Science and Technology was named in the 1201 group.
Four Vietnamese universities entered the Impact Rankings 2021 by Times Higher Education (THE), including Vietnam National University-Hanoi, which is ranked at number 401-600, Ton Duc Thang University (401-600), Hanoi University of Science and Technology (601-800), and Phenikaa University (801-1,000).
