Vietnam halts COVID-19 medical declaration at all border gates
ABO/NDO - The Ministry of Health has decided to suspendCOVID-19 medical declarations for people entering Vietnam at all border gates from 00:00 on April 27.
According to the ministry, the COVID-19 pandemic has been recorded in most countries around the world and we have specific and effective preventive vaccines against the current SARS-CoV-2 virus strains. In addition, both the number of cases and deaths due to the pandemic hasdecreased on a global scale in recent times.

In Vietnam, the pandemic has been controlled nationwide with a high rate of COVID-19 vaccine coverage.
The Ministry of Health will continue to update and provide information on the pandemic situation in Vietnam and the world, and take appropriate pandemic prevention measures.
At a conference of the Ministry of Health on April 26, Minister of Health Nguyen Thanh Long said that the ministry will abolish domestic medical declarations and the Ministry of Health will assign the Department of Preventive Health to issue guiding documents to localities.
