Tra Vinh signs cooperation agreement on sending Vietnamese workers to Japan
ABO/NDO- On October 25, the People's Committee of Tra Vinh province coordinated with Esuhai Co., Ltd. to organise a ceremony, and to sign a cooperation agreement on training high-quality human resources through the Vietnamese intern training programme.
According to the Department of Labour, Invalids and Social Affairs of Tra Vinh province, in the period 2012-2022, the province sent 3,460 labourers to work abroad. Accordingly, the Japanese market: has 2,288 people; Taiwan (China): has 345 people, Malaysia: has 190 people, and the Republic of Korea (RoK): has 121 people.

Up to now, Tra Vinh province has disbursed loans for 763 people to work abroad with more than 59 billion VND. As a result, when the contract expires, workers have accumulated from 250-430 million VND in Taiwan (China), and Malaysia markets, and 660-970 million VND in Japan and the RoK markets.
From 2021 to 2025, the province strives to send 4,000 people to work and study in Japan. Which, there are 1,600 healthcare technicians; 1,000 labourers who participated in middle management; 1,400 people who work in engineering.
Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Tra Vinh province Le Thanh Binh, said that the signing of training, and sending labourers to work and study in Japan contributes to creating jobs, sustainable poverty eradication, meeting the needs of human resources in serving the province's socio-economic development in the coming time.
