Programme honours 68 outstanding teachers nationwide
ABO/NDO- A total of 68 outstanding teachers from 56 cities and provinces nationwide were honoured at an annual programme entitled ‘Chia Se Cung Thay Co’ (Sharing in teachers’ difficulties), which was held in Hanoi on November 16.
The honourees stood out from the 123 nominees submitted by 56 localities and organisations across the country.
Speaking at the ceremony, Secretary of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union (HCYU) Central Committee and President of the Vietnam Youth Federation Nguyen Ngoc Luong expressed his respect and gratitude to teachers who have devoted themselves to the education mission, overcoming all difficulties to cultivate knowledge and skills in their students.

While affirming that the society always appreciates the merits of teachers and understand the hardships facing their work, Luong said that the ‘Sharing in teachers’ difficulties’ programme will contribute to inspiring and motivating teachers to continue developing more effective teaching methods for the further development of the education sector.
The ‘Sharing in teachers’ difficulties’ has been organised annually since 2015 by the Vietnam Youth Federation Central Committee, the Ministry of Education and Training, and Thien Long Group.
It has honoured a total of more than 400 teachers who have embraced difficulties to work out teaching initiatives to spread literacy to students with disabilities and ethnic minority students in border areas and sea and islands regions.
