The event was co-organised by the Ho Chi Minh Young Pioneer Organisation, the Vietnam Post Corporation, and the Vietnam Philatelic Association.
It is eligible for children aged from 8 to 15 years old across the country, who are requested to collect stamps, answer a list of questions, and write an essay on historical lessons.

The entries, preferably written by hands and illustrated with stamps, should be sent by post to the headquarters of the Vietnam Centre for Children Support and Development in Hanoi no later than May 31.
Speaking at the launch ceremony, Vice Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh Young Pioneer Organisation Le Anh Quan said that the contest is designed to raise children’s patriotism and their understanding of national history, thus increasing their sense of responsibility in the national construction and defence.
