Book exhibition on President Ho Chi Minh and leaders of Party and State launched

ABO/NDO- A book exhibition on President Ho Chi Minh and other Party and State leaders was launched by the Vietnam Publishers’ Association at Ho Chi Minh City’s Book Street on September 15.

The event is part of a series of activities within the framework of the annual Conference of ASEAN Book Publishers’ Association Executive Committee, which is underway in Ho Chi Minh City.

The exhibition introduces more than 100 book titles in three categories, including books on President Ho Chi Minh, publications by Party General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong, and books about leaders of the Party and the Vietnamese revolution, through periods.

Associate Professor, Dr. Pham Minh Tuan, chairman of the Vietnam Publishers’ Association said that President Ho Chi Minh was the genius leader of the Vietnamese revolution, as well as an outstanding activist of the international communist and workers’ movement. He is a shining symbol of great national unity and the spirit of international solidarity. Ho Chi Minh’s ideology on international solidarity is also an important theoretical basis for the Vietnamese Party and State to determine foreign policy and expand international relations.

Therefore, the Vietnam Publishers’ Association chose to display books about President Ho Chi Minh and other Vietnamese Party and State leaders to highlight the development of friendship and solidarity between Vietnam and other countries throughout the region and the world, Tuan noted.

The exhibition will conclude on September 16.
