Vice President meets exemplary models of Lao Cai Province

ABO/NDO- On September 19, Vice President Vo Thi Anh Xuan hosted a meeting in Hanoi with a delegation of exemplary models in following President Ho Chi Minh’s teachings in Lao Cai Province.

Speaking at the event, Vice President Xuan stressed that following President Ho Chi Minh’s teachings is not only a political task but it is also a way to express people’s sentiments toward President Ho, thus contributing to inspiring patriotism and determination to contribute to the national construction and development.

She asked Lao Cai provincial authorities to thoroughly grasp and realise President Ho’s teachings through practical actions and plans, and put forward prompt policies to strengthen solidarity among ethnic groups in the locality.

She also stressed the importance of improving the infrastructure system, education, and healthcare services, thus increasing the livelihoods of the local people.

She expressed her hope that the exemplary models will continue promoting their outcomes in following President Ho’s teachings and work out more effective methods and models to facilitate their homeland’s development.

Since 2016, the Lao Cai provincial authorities have awarded more than 3,350 collectives and individuals for their outstanding performance in studying and following President Ho Chi Minh’s teachings.
