Campaign launched to encourage parents to spend more time with their children

ABO/NDO- The Maternal and Child Health Department under the Ministry of Health launched a campaign entitled ‘24 Hours with Your Children’ on November 28 to encourage parents and foster carers to accompany their child’s growth journey.

Speaking at the launch ceremony, Dr Tran Dang Khoa, Deputy Head of the Maternal and Child Health Department, stressed that the Party and State always attach great importance to caring for children.

The health sector has implemented several policies and programmes targeting children and women, such as providing care for newborns and providing free treatment for children under six years old.

Children are the happiness of each family and the future of the country, he said, adding that caring, protecting, and educating children is the common responsibility of families, sectors, localities and the entire community.
