Hai Phong to set off fireworks to greet New Year 2024

ABO/NDO- Hai Phong will stage a fireworks display on New Year’s Eve 2024, according to an announcement by the Hai Phong Department of Culture and Sports.

This is the first year Hai Phong City holds a firework display on New Year’s Eve.

Accordingly, Hai Phong City will hold a low-range fireworks performance on New Year’s Eve 2024, immediately after the art programme "Hai Phong - Welcome New Year 2024", in the area behind the Hai Phong City Theater.

A 10-minute firework display will take place in the area behind the Hai Phong City Theater.

Funding for fireworks displays comes from socialised sources.

According to the Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Hai Phong City Le Khac Nam, the art programme "Hai Phong - Welcome New Year 2024" is a cultural event to create a joyful and exciting atmosphere among the people, to welcome the New Year 2024 and celebrate the 94th founding anniversary of the Communist Party of Vietnam.
