The 70-kilometre race saw the participation of 70 runners, while the 5-kilometre distance attracted the largest number of participants. All runners started at D1 Hill, the location of the Dien Bien Phu Victory Monument.
Along their running paths, participants had the opportunity to learn about history as well as admire the breathtaking beauty of the Dien Bien mountains and forests.
They also helped spread the message of traffic safety towards happiness for all families.
On the occasion, the National Traffic Safety Committee called on people to comply with traffic rules, especially no driving after drinking, wearing helmets when riding motorbikes and observing speed limits.
It noted that parents and adults need to set examples for children and ensure that they have the necessary knowledge and skills before using the roads in order to build an increasingly safe and friendly road environment.
