Also, on May 5, the MIC, Vietnam Post and other relevant agencies jointly released a stamp set to celebrate the 70th anniversary of the Dien Bien Phu Victory.

The set includes four stamps designed by Vietnam Post’s artist Nguyen Du, who depicted Dien Bien Phu from its heroic past to a bright future.

The stamps have four different colour themes, but in general it is a transition from warm to cool colours and from war to peace. The background of the stamps features Thai patterns to honour the diversity of the local culture.
