Senior Party official makes Tet visit to Ha Giang Province
ABO/NDO- Politburo member and head of the Central Commission for Internal Affairs Phan Dinh Trac visited and presented Lunar New Year (Tet) gifts in the northern mountainous province of Ha Giang on January 21.
Upon arriving in Ha Giang, Trac, along with central and provincial leaders, paid his respects at the Vi Xuyen Martyrs’ Cemetery.
In Quan Ba District, Trac visited and presented Tet gifts to the government and people of Tung Vai Commune, officers and soldiers of Tung Vai Border Guard Station and the Tung Vai Commune Police.

In his Tet greetings, Trac commended the encouraging efforts and results of both Quan Ba District in general and Tung Vai Commune in particular, especially the campaign to eliminate temporary housing for poor households.
He urged the border guard and police forces in the area to maintain effective border security and order, and to coordinate closely in handling all border-related situations effectively.
The armed forces in the area should also assist local authorities in economic and social development, as well as forest management and protection.
He noted that the immediate task for local authorities and armed forces is to ensure that everyone can enjoy a warm, joyful, and safe Lunar New Year celebration.
