Permanent Deputy PM Nguyen Hoa Binh inspects key transport projects in Binh Dinh
ABO/NDO- On June 7, Permanent Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Hoa Binh led an inspection delegation in a meeting with representatives from Da Nang, Quang Ngai, Binh Dinh, and Phu Yen provinces to address challenges affecting key transport projects slated for completion in 2025.
During the meeting, project contractors and local leaders highlighted obstacles such as land clearance delays, compensation disputes, and resettlement demands from affected residents, all of which have impacted construction progress.
They unanimously agreed that close cooperation among local authorities, contractors, and residents is crucial to overcoming these hurdles.
Deputy PM Binh underscored the significance of infrastructure development, noting that the 13th National Party Congress has identified it as one of three strategic breakthroughs, with a goal of completing 5,000 kilometres of expressways by 2030. From the outset of the current term, the government has mobilized resources to accelerate expressway construction efforts.

A 500-day emulation campaign for completing 3,000km of expressways was launched at a ceremony held in the presence of Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh in Dak Lak Province on August 18.
By March 1, 2025, seven inspection teams had been established to identify and resolve obstacles hindering key transport projects scheduled for completion that year.
Earlier, from May 14 to 16, the Ministry of Construction—serving as the Standing Agency of Inspection Team No. 1—worked alongside leaders of Da Nang, Quang Ngai, Binh Dinh, and Phu Yen to conduct site inspections and meetings.
Their focus was on resolving issues affecting four expressway projects: Hoa Lien–Tuy Loan, Quang Ngai–Hoai Nhon, Hoai Nhon–Quy Nhon, and Quy Nhon–Chi Thanh.
