Viet Nam General Confederation of Labour and Nhan Dan Newspaper strengthen cooperation

ABO/NDO- On June 13, Party Central Committee member and President of the Viet Nam General Confederation of Labour (VGCL), Nguyen Dinh Khang, visited Nhan Dan Newspaper to extend his congratulations to journalists and reporters on the occasion of the 100th anniversary of Viet Nam Revolutionary Press Day (June 21, 1925–2025).

The delegation was warmly received by Deputy Editor-in-Chief of Nhan Dan Newspaper, Que Dinh Nguyen.
Speaking at the event, VGCL President Khang praised Nhan Dan Newspaper for its vibrant, innovative, and increasingly diverse activities in recent years. He commended its role in disseminating crucial information to a wide audience nationwide and highlighted its commitment to timely, accurate, and in-depth coverage of workers’ lives, the labour movement, and trade union activities.

Khang emphasised that this strong foundation presents an opportunity for both parties to further enhance their collaboration in the future.

For his part, Deputy Editor-in-Chief Que Dinh Nguyen expressed gratitude for the VGCL’s continued support of the newspaper. He reaffirmed Nhan Dan’s dedication to promoting the activities of the VGCL and trade unions at all levels, ensuring their efforts are widely recognised.

Nguyen also noted the newspaper’s commitment to embracing technology and digitalisation while reinforcing the enduring relevance of print journalism in the modern digital landscape. These advancements aim to deliver authentic and reliable information to readers more efficiently and effectively.
