Rehearsal for Dien Bien Phu victory grand ceremony
ABO/VNA - As the 65th anniversary of Dien Bien Phu victory is coming, local militia and armed forces have been devoting themselves to practise for the upcoming grand parade in the locality.
Despite hot weather with temperature standing at 40 degree Celsius, these soldiers still march solemnly. Moreover, they are happy to be part of the upcoming grand meeting in celebration of the 65th anniversary of the Dien Bien Phu victory, Vietnam’s biggest victory in the resistance war from 1945 to 1954.
Regardless current scorching hot days, armed forces of Dien Bien province are still trying their best in a hope to contribute to the success of the event.
The grand meeting will be held in Dien Bien Phu city on May 6, gathering nearly 30 parade delegations with nearly 2,300 soldiers and local people from all classes.
Just days left until the grand ceremony, all forces have been concentrating more on practice. With their highest determination and enthusiasm, the event is expected to be successful.
