Visiting the Vietnamese embassy in Havana on January 14, the Cuban official stated that the shared experience will be of great help to the Caribbean country as it works to modify its development model.

Invoking memories from his visit to Vietnam last December, he said he believes the visit was successful in further strengthening the special friendship and comprehensive partnership between the two nations.

For his part, Ambassador Duong Minh expressed strong appreciation for the solidarity and effective support that the Party, State, people, and soldiers of Cuba have given to Vietnam during its past struggle for independence and current national construction and defence.

He briefed the guest on current political, socio-economic and security-defence situations in Vietnam, as well as discussion outcomes from the recent Party Central Committee’s 10th session.

The diplomat also vowed to do his utmost to further promote cooperation between the two countries across all fields, for the mutual benefit of both nations.
