Deputy Prime Minister welcomes Lao Justice Minister

Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc held a reception for a delegation from the Lao Justice Ministry led by Minister Bounkeut Sangsomsak, in Hanoi, on January 28.

Vietnamese and Lao ministers of Justice sign a co-operation agreement for the 2015-2020 period

At the meeting, Deputy PM Nguyen Xuan Phuc hailed the delegation’s working visit as contributing to deepening the Vietnam-Laos traditional relationship and solidarity, particularly in legal and judicial co-operation.

He highlighted that Vietnam always supports and creates favourable conditions for the co-ordination between the two justice ministries.

Minister Bounkeut Sangsomsak briefed his host on a new co-operation agreement signed by the two ministries for the 2015 to 2020 period.

The guest expressed his hope for more bilateral delegation exchange as well as more support from Vietnam for his ministry, especially in human resources training.

The Lao delegation is on a working visit to Vietnam from January 27 to 31.
