Vietnam presents Friendship Order to Algerian ambassador

Chikhi received the Vietnamese State’s noble order for his active contributions to promoting friendship and the traditional co-operation between Vietnam and Algeria during his five-year mission in the country.
Speaking at the award ceremony, Nam affirmed the State’s recognition and appreciation for the ambassador in consolidating and enhancing bilateral ties.
He expressed his belief that Chikhi, in any positions in the future, will continue to nourish the traditional friendship, saying that the Vietnamese Government and people will spare no efforts to enhance bilateral relations.
For his part, the ambassador expressed his honour to receive the noble order. He reviewed his mission in Vietnam, saying that the two countries can be proud of achievements in bilateral relations, particularly in parliamentary and people-to-people diplomatic activities, economic and trade ties, and mutual support at regional and international forums.
Chikhi stated potential in economic and trade co-operation, particularly in energy. He expressed his sentiments for the country and the people of Vietnam, saying that he will continue to make contributions to developing the sound friendship and co-operation between the two countries.
