Party newspaper pledges to foster Vietnam-DPRK relations
As the voice of the Communist Party of Vietnam (CPV), Nhan Dan (People) Newspaper will do its utmost to nurture and strengthen the friendship and traditional relations between Vietnam and the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea (DPRK).

CPV Central Committee member and Nhan Dan Newspaper Editor-in-Chief Thuan Huu made the affirmation at a reception held at the newspaper’s headquarters in Hanoi on April 8 for DPRK Ambassador to Vietnam Kim Chang Il.
Huu, who is also Chairman of the Vietnam Journalists’ Association, stressed that Vietnamese Party, government and people always highly appreciate the fine traditional ties with the DPRK.
He also congratulated achievements the DPRK has gained in national construction and defence, extending his belief that the guest country would make more progresses under the leadership of the DPRK Workers' Party.
At the reception, the two sides informed each other of the socio-economic development in their country and discussed ways to increase bilateral co-operation, particularly between Party newspapers of the two countries, in 2015 when Vietnam and the DPRK observe the 65th anniversary of diplomatic relations.
