Deputy PM: Gov't supports ties of Vietnam-Laos inspectorates
The Government of Vietnam pledges to support Vietnamese and Lao inspectorates to increase co-operation in the inspection and settlement of complaints and anti-corruption, which is a key and onerous task, Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc told Vice President of the Lao Government Inspection Bounpone Sangsomsak in Hanoi on June 15.

Vietnam is willing to help the Government Inspectorate receive and train Lao counterparts each year, he said, adding that the two countries are working to deliver on commitments made by their leaders at the 37th meeting of the Vietnam-Laos Inter-Governmental Committee last January.
He described 2016 as a significant year, as each nation will hold their respective National Party Congress to elect the next generation of country leaders and make plans for the coming year.
The Deputy PM also hailed the significance of the visit in fostering friendship and co-operation between the two Parties and countries for the sake of their peoples.
The guest informed the host of the outcomes of his talks with the Vietnamese government inspectorates.
He expressed his hope that the two governments, States and peoples would continue nurturing their ties.
