Lao Deputy PM pleased with Vietnamese delegation's visit
Lao Deputy Prime Minister Somsavath Lengsavath said he was pleased with outcomes of the visit made by a delegation from the Vietnamese Ministry of Planning and Investment led by Deputy Minister Nguyen Chi Dung.

The Lao Deputy PM affirmed at a reception for the Vietnamese delegation in Vientiane on July 31 that Laos is grateful for Vietnam’s support, which is evidence of the close-knit relationship between the two countries.
Deputy Minister Dung, who is also Deputy Chairman of the Vietnam-Laos Cooperation Sub-committee, informed the host of outcomes of his working sessions with Luang Namtha and Bo Keo provincial authorities, including the hand-over of Vieng Phu Kha high school in Luang Namtha, the second school project implemented using Vietnam’s non-refundable aid worth almost VND75 billion (US$3.57 million).
On July 30-31, Dung toured several construction projects funded by Vietnam in Luang Namtha and Bo Keo provinces.
