The delegate of Mozambique's agriculture, fishery experts visits Tien Giang

On April 19, the delegation of Maputo province’s agricultural and fishery experts of Mozambique, led by the Governor of Maputo province Raimundo Maico Diomba visited Tien Giang. Deputy Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee (PPC) Pham Anh Tuan received this delegation.

At the meeting, Deputy Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee (PPC) Pham Anh Tuan and governor of Maputo Raimudo Diomba Maico exchanged information on the situation of socioeconomic development of each locality and results of the contents in the cooperated memorandum signed by two sides.

Deputy Chairman of the PPC Pham Anh Tuan expressed a desire to further promote relation cooperation between two local in issues of socioeconomic development, foreign policy.

In the working program in Tien Giang from April 19 to 25, the Maputo province’s delegation of agriculture, fishery experts will work with the Tien Giang Department of Agriculture and Rural Development to exchange specifically on cooperation in agriculture between the two provinces, visiting cage aquaculture model on the Tien River  and tilapia hatchery model in Cai Lay district, visiting the rice irrigation system in Hau My Trinh commune as well as learning the production of rice for export of some businesses in Cai Be district, visiting model of phanting dragon in Cho Gao district and production activities of some businesses in My Tho Industrial Park.

After a fact-finding tour at the facility, the Maputo province’s delegation of agriculture, fishery experts will be trained in cultivation and aquaculture by experts of Tien Giang Department of Agriculture and Rural Development.
