She spoke highly of the diplomat’s contributions to the friendship and cooperation between the two countries and the two parliaments.

The top legislator showed her delight at strong developments in the Vietnam-Cuba comprehensive co-operation.

In the context that Cuba continues updating its economic model and Vietnam is pushing ahead with the Doi Moi (renewal) and comprehensive international integration, the two countries will have more opportunities to strengthen co-operation in economics, trade and investment, she stated.

The Cuban ambassador informed the host that the Cuban Communist Party’s 7th Congress in April approved a series of development orientations for the country until 2030.

He said he believes that the two countries’ solidarity and comprehensive co-operation will be intensified further in the coming time, alongside the implementation of socio-economic development tasks in each country.

The diplomat also confirmed that in his position, he will continue to try his best to deepen the two nations’ relations.
