Ho Chi Minh City hopes to strengthen ties with Indian localities

Tam affirmed that Vietnam always treasures and bears in mind the support of India to the country in its past struggle for national liberation and its current national construction and development.
Ho Chi Minh City and several Vietnamese localities have coordinated actively with Indian localities in order to contribute to the two countries’ relations, she stated.
She expressed her hope that the Indian party and the guest in particular will act as a bridge to boost co-operation between Indian localities and Ho Chi Minh City in addition to other Vietnamese localities.
The Indian official said he was impressed with the development of Ho Chi Minh City, believing that the city will reap more fruitful outcomes in the future.
The Communist Party of India wishes to learn from Vietnam’s experience in implementing its renewal policy, he said.
