Condolences sent to Cuba over plane crash
ABO/NDO - A Cuban state airways plane with 110 passengers and crew on board crashed at 12.08pm (local time) on May 18 shortly after taking off from Havana to Holguin, leaving 107 people dead.

Party General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong on May 19 cabled a message of condolences to First Secretary of the Communist Party of Cuba’s Central Committee Raul Castro Ruz.
The same day, President Tran Dai Quang and Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc also sent a message of condolences to President of the Councils of State and Ministers of Cuba Miguel Mario Canel Bermudes.
National Assembly Chairwoman Nguyen Thi Kim Ngan also sent a message of condolences to President of Cuba’s National Assembly Esteban Lazo Hernandes.
Also on May 19, Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Pham Binh Minh cabled a message of condolences to Cuban Foreign Minister Bruno Rodriguez Parrilla.
