Over the past time, the cooperation relations of Tien Giang province and South Korea have been constantly expanding, namely: In 2018, the export turnover of Tien Giang province to South Korea reached 138 million USD with mainly goods such as: vegetables, bags, seafood, rice, etc...

Currently, Tien Giang has 27 operating Korean enterprises with an investment of over 411 million USD. South Korean tourists to Tien Giang in 2018 reached over 51,000 visitors, accounting for 6.3% of international visitors to Tien Giang province, etc...

At the meeting, Chairman of the Tien Giang provincial People's Committee Le Van Huong expressed his delight at witnessing the well-developed Vietnam-Korea friendship and cooperation relations in general and between Tien Giang province and localities of Korea in particular.

For his part, Consul General Lim Jae Hoon thanked the provincial leader for warm welcome and expressed his delight at the fine relationship between Tien Giang province and South Korean localities.
