NA leader receives United Socialist Party of Venezuela's delegation
ABO/NDO – Chairwoman of National Assembly (NA) Nguyen Thi Kim Ngan hosted a reception in Hanoi on September 30 for Diosdado Cabello, the First Vice President of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela.

At the reception, the Vietnamese NA leader expressed her belief that the visit made by the delegation of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela would further deepen the friendship and cooperation between the two Parties and two countries, especially on the occasion of the 30th anniversary of bilateral diplomatic relations (September, 1989-2019).
She gave thanks to Venezuelan progressive forces and people for their solidarity and support to the cause of national liberation and reunification of Vietnam.
NA Chairwoman Ngan affirmed Vietnamese Party and State's consistent policy of supporting constitutional democracy process in Venezuela, thus wishing political forces in the country to dialogue and seek long-term solutions on the basis of the Constitution.
The top legislator believed that under the leadership of President Nicolas Maduro, Venezuelan people would successfully implement the teaching of late President Hugo Chavez to inspire the country in overcoming difficulties and challenges and stabilising the current situation to develop more prosperity in the country.
Vietnam is willing to share experience in socio-economic development, particularly in agricultural development, with Venezuela, she added.
For his part, First Vice President of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela, Diosdado Cabello, voiced his pleasure at the great achievements of the Doi Moi (Renewal) process launched and lead by the Communist Party of Vietnam (CPV).
He wished to further enhance the traditional friendship with the CPV to exchange experience, particularly in the Party building, socio-economic development, agricultural development and hunger eradication and poverty reduction.
The guest briefed Vietnamese legislative leader Ngan on the Venezuela’s difficulties and challenges, while affirming that under the leadership of the United Socialist Party, the army-people solidarity bloc will be consolidated strongly to become a solid stronghold for the country to overcome all difficulties and gradually defeat any conspiracy intending to destabilise the country.
Earlier, the United Socialist Party of Venezuela’s leader held talks with Politburo member and permanent member of Secretariat Tran Quoc Vuong, informing each other of the situation of the two countries and Parties as well as giving opinions on international issues of common interest and discussing measures to promoting the bilateral relations between the two Parties in the coming time.
During their stay in Vietnam, the Venezuelan delegation paid tribute to President Ho Chi Minh and worked with numerous agencies.
