Many households get high profit by growing straw mushroom

Many households in Tan Phuoc district have currently developed the straw mushroom growing model thanks to high profit.

According to Tan Phuoc district, there are more than 100 households growing straw mushroom with cultivated surface on average 1 to 10 hectare per each household. Most of straw to grow mushroom are utilized from the area of rice after harvesting.

Collecting straw mushrooms

According to straw mushroom growers, one kilogram mushroom is sold on the spot with the price VND 55,000. With this price, mushroom growers get high profit.

As reported, growing straw mushroom is one of the effective business models solving the post-harvest agricultural crop as well as solving the waste of agricultural products, creating more income for household.
