The inspection team surveyed two plots of land (in Thanh Tan commune) at risk of flood threat. Accordingly, the total area of these two land lots is about 250 hectares, of which the clam area is 120 hectares. According to calculations, the total cost to build dykes for two land lots is 4.3 billion. After building dyke, the electricity sector will provide electricity for people to pump water to drain. Up to this point, the district has pumped water to drain 74 plots of land with over 144 pumping stations.

Besides, the whole Tan Phuoc district has about 427 ha of rice, concentrated in the communes of Thanh Hoa, Tan Hoa Tay, Phuoc Lap communes, to be harvested after September 30. Depending on the situation of the flood, the local will have a way to handle. Chairman of Tan Phuoc district People's Committee Nguyen Van Man said that most of the schools are in the flood over flood top in 2011. There is one school in Tan Hoa Tay with six rooms, two rooms flooded.

In this case, the Chairman of the PPC instructed the local authorities to transfer the students and teachers to other facilities so that they would not have to leave school. He stressed: “If students can not go to school when the flood comes, the Chairman of the district People's Committee will be responsible.”
