100 hectares of Co Co frapefruit in Cai Be district restored

According to the Cai Be district People’s Committee, in the first eight months of 2017, the agricultural sector of the district has restored more than 100 hectares of Co Co grapefruit; until now, Cai Be district has had more than 400 hectares of Co Co grapefruit concentrated in My Luong commune, An Thai Dong commune, My Duc Tay commune, Dong Hoa Hiep commune, My Loi A commune and An Thai Trung commune.

As reported, the agricultural sector of the district has deployed the programme of variety assistance on the basis of existing original trees gardens to achieve an area of 3,000 hectares under specialized planning. At the same time, the agricultural sector replicatted the mode of producing grapefruit met the VietGAP, GlobalGAP standard, etc…, to aim at the profit of fruit gardens to reach about VND100 million per hectare per year.
